well i was at the dealer to see what kind of damage there was when the axle broke .

this is what i got "what the hell where you doing? " "how did you crack the carrier and carrier bearing and remove the teeth off the spider gears " i was what are you talking about we where in a 4wd practice area on some small rocks so my guy is this is not good i said yeah but how is the warranty looking now well "i think i can get this one fixed for you. will see tomorrow " i said let me know but it looks like there going to take care of it and install the new 5:13 gears so fingers crossed and hope it is going to get fixed .

 

So let me get this straight. Your dealer is going to get everything covered under warranty and is going to upgrade you to 5.13's. Or are you just going to get 5.13's on your own?

 

i have already bought 5:13 gears (from wood he has a great price) front and rear i just have not had them installed yet so the dealer will install the 5:13's cause i have them and they will not have to warranty the stock gears

 

Good luck! I hope they cover it for you. Sounds like a pretty good dealer. At least better than most.

 

ask them if your warranty is gonna be honored in the same manner once the 5.13's are installed....

 

they said after they take care of this one there probably not going to cover the front again so the gear getting installed will not bother me. and in time i am going to replace them any way
