Sweet can't wait to see them, check out Big Bear - Dirtopia, the Off-Road Encyclopedia it's a good place to start at least.

What type of trails are you thinking of hitting? A nice scenic but easy run or a more technical, rocky trail?

I would go with Gold Mountain for a fun trail with some challenging obstacles.
It is easy to get to, and close to town.

Haha... I miss technical wheeling. Had an awesome time in the desert last weekend, but I miss the technical stuff that I'm accustomed to ..
