Big Bear Labor Day Weekend

We did learn a bit about the tools required to tear down the front axle. I plan to make a list of the specifics. I'll post it up when I get around to it.

Hey everybody,
I'm the guy that drove the blue Nissan Xterra in front of you -- I have been 4-wheelin' for over 30 years, so know very well what Jeeps are capable of (
almost as much as my old Toy FJ40!
).
 I'd like to thank you all for giving us credit (even mentioning us????) for getting that Jeep off those rocks -- my son is the one in the pic with the Hi-Lift. A simple thanks would have been nice! Seems nobody was stepping forward to resolve the situation until we did. Had you continued to pull it backwards off the rocks, as you were trying, you probably would have damaged the front diff, if not the driveshaft/u-joint.
I don't mind stopping to help people who get into trouble off road -- I would hope to receive similar help if I need it. I'm glad you were able to make it driveable again -- did you drive it home, or just back to pavement?
Maybe we'll see you on the trail at some time in the future.....I'll be sure to say "Hi".
Keep the shiny side up, and the rubber side down!

So... uhm, PUDDLZ should I expect to see your rig at Don A Vee or ORE? Just need to know where to park my JK since everytime your in for something mine shows up a day later.
Sorry I missed the excitement. Damn puddlz, you need to keep at least 3 tires on the ground!
Ended up installing 14 boxes of flooring and finishing the master bedroom. Then, I installed the Rock Hard bumper and carrier (HOLY $%#%#!) That bumper install kicked my %$$. But, it works nicely now. I think I lost 50lbs due to the heat: 106 in Placentia. 111 in my garage. ARGH!
I'll see you all this weekend at ORE (and maybe in the morning if there is a QUICKIE run!).
