That was cool running into you guys on the trail! Hopefully your group didn't have any major drama.

After I saw you guys, on one of the next obstacles, we had some drama, but luckily not from anyone in our group. We had kind of a traffic jam going on one of the obstacles where a group was coming the other way, we had a guy stuck on a rock and had to winch him off. Meanwhile two motorcycles came by and didn't want to wait for us, so tried to muscle through. They almost got clotheslined on one of the winch cables and hit one of the guys from the group coming the other way. No damage to him or the cycle, just pissed them off.

Right after that one of their group in a Cherokee was doing something stupid: During the cluster f*#k, he backed up on the hillside and rolled on his side.

What I learned from this:
ALWAYS leave your windows rolled down: Many were yelling at him to stop, but he didn't hear us. Luckily the windows didn't break, but that was just pure luck. Mostly just some body damage, but as somewhat of a novice, stuff like that just FREAKS me out and makes me nervous for the rest of the day.

So I hope you guys made it through without any problems. I'll have to hit up some trails with you guys again soon!

Wow that's a bummer. We had two broken steering stabilizers, that's it. I was one of them. I knew I should of got the relocation bracket sooner. I don't know why I kept putting off. Now I have to get both. O'well. Other then that we had a great day.

Is the steering stabilizer the same thing as a front track bar?

Here's the front end parts included:
- double adjustable front track bar made from 1.5” solid alloy steel
- (2) high clearance adjustable front lower control arms made of 1.625” solid alloy steel,

Just wondering if it's something I should address before it breaks?

The stock position is down low. So what happens is that it get smashed on the rocks. If this happens it does not prevent you from continuing from steering. The stabilizer functionality is more for higher rate of speed. Even then you will still be able to continue to drive without it. To prevent the shock from getting smashed you need to get a relocation bracket. If your steering stabilizer is already damaged you can get one already with the bracket.
