Default Big Bear Trips 9/4 -9/7?

I am interested in going up to Big Bear this weekend. I'd like to try John Bull.
Anyone going?

Not running JB but a few of us are running Pontiac/Heartbreak on Sat. Going up the back way through Pioneer Town. Mixed group of JKs and TJs. PM me if you are interested and I can forward the details.

Easy to moderate depending on drivers skill. It is mostly a combination of fire roads, bowling ball-ish sized rocks and uneven terrain. For set up your Jeep really only need rock rails/sliders, decent off road tires and a plus would be sway bar disconnects. Mostly stock Jeep JK/Us might get a bump or two on their bottom side, but the stock underside "armor" should be able to handle it with ease. The attached photos show one of two spots that make this a moderate trail for those with less time behind the wheel off road.

Hope this answers your questions.

It is, but our start point is a bit far from MV. We are starting in the 29 Palms area around 9am and heading up through Pioneer Town which is often call referred to as the back road to Big Bear. If you are up for the drive PM me and I will provide the details.
