Buck Rock Jeep Trail near Sequoia
Here are a couple photos from a recent trip that I took with Allan.
We stayed at Hume lake which was super close.
To anyone who wants a fun wheeling day that you can keep easy or make challenging, check out Buck Rock Jeep Trail. We made it into about a half to two-thirds day run since we had the wives with us, but could have easily been an all-day thing. Lake Hume Campground was beautiful and a great place to camp near by the Sequoias and within walking distance of the Lake Hume. If you do stay there, I would suggest campsites 64, 62 and 61. They are the closest to the water.
The Christian camp nearby has gas and a market to buy basics from as well as a boat rental for canoeing/kayaking. I found this is a great way to incorporate wheeling into a fun well rounded vacation. Anyways, before this trip I had NO idea what to expect so I thought I would post to possibly help someone else looking for this sort of trip.
I plan to post more photos of the trip in the next couple days so stay tuned!
P.S. Allan almost rolled!!

Looks like a great place & a fun time!
Is this Hume Lake Campground by reservation only, or is it first come - first serve?
Oh, And what are the campground fees per night?

The campground is popular so I would suggest a reservation, but they do have a section of first come-first serve.
