Got a late start then traffic out the whazoo so kai and I bagged on it....got some chocolate and a soda and chilled out in the garage while he road his crf50 in the couldesac....

Yup, that was a classic and fun event! Good friends, good margaritas and beer at Por Favor, great taco-bar at Downtown Cafe (thank you Kim for helping arrange), and awesome seeing such a looooong line of JK's taking over Main Street! Very cool that two of us from the JK-Forum gang won trophies; Chawndelle won for best 4-wheel drive, and I won for "Best Bad-Ass Car" with my '69 Camaro Yenko-Tribute car. Sweet!

So this guy we are friends with posts up about the El Cajon street deal last night on Face book. He was going on about this car that got second place but should have gotten first and he posted some photos too. He was talking about Tom Slik's car. We told him he is a jeep guy and we go wheeling together and yes that car is bad ass. Small world

Hey Rob, that is too funny but cool they noticed my car! I guess I impressed some, but also scared a few with the burn-out leading up to my trophy. Haha, they never warned me BEFORE I hit the throttle that it was frowned upon... I'm sure they wanted to make sure an off-road machine won the big prize since it was "Off Road Madness" (and no, I don't hit the dirt in the Camaro, if I can avoid it!).
