Any chance someone can post grid coordinates for the campsite?

You bet. This is the end of the treeline we're camping at nearest the highway: 32.84833, -116.19062

Eric, you can walk the tracks (bearing in mind that it's all private property). From the closest section of track you can reach via Jeep the walk to Goat Canyon Trestle is 4.9 miles each way, and you'll have to go through 7 tunnels and across 8 trestles.

What are you all doing with your dogs during the hike? It seems like a rough hike for spoiled-dog paws but it'll be too warm to leave them in the tent or Jeep...

My boxer is extremely sure footed on rocks. She climbs the rock peaks with me at the beach here in Tijuana...

I'm pretty certain Lou will go on the hike with us. If not I'll either leave him with my niece, who's staying at camp, or maybe leave him with Ralph, who's volunteered to watch the Jeeps while we hike, to keep him company.

If you like I'll ask my niece if she'd be interested in dog-sitting for you. She's always happy to earn a few bucks.

Cool, thanks. I'd like to take him along but in case not, I'll bring some cash
