Thanks to everyone for your help actually ive contacted chrysler and they told me in fact it should be covered under the extwnded warranty..they asked me to contact my local dealer to have them check it out. I sent an email to serv dep at carlsbad and still waiting on a response ...hopefully they will take care of it ...

Just had mine repaired two weekends ago and its was covered by the extended warranty. This was a shocker as I purchased the jeep used with a limited warranty that has long been expired.

Im thinking about hard wiring a momentary switch to the horn to make it work again.
