Default Do not go to Midway Jeep

They cancelled my lifetime warranty today when I went in for a 5 year checkup. I told them I was going to lift it when I bought it and thy said it would be no problem. I was still getting free oil changes when I installed the lift and they said nothing. They said it was "Chrysler's policy a lift automatically voids it". Wouldn't show me where it said that and I know plenty of others who have not had issues.

I had that same issue. That's why in just going to go to Poway now. I work at Kearney Mesa so it's just 10min up. But yeah, they just try and find the smallest thing to void the warranty. They tried pulling a fast one on me, because my engine had dust on it.

Wow, that's a little much. I've lifted my jeep and I'm still getting warranty work done. A lift should, for no reason void your warranty, unless they have a solid in writing policy about it, from Chrysler, and even then, a change in policy does not affect you. Can't do stuff retroactive like that.

They are probably just trying to nickel and dime you because they can charge you more than Chrysler pays them.. And they might even get a bonus from Chrysler for minimizing warranty work. I'd go to Poway or something else. Don't try Perry in Mile of Cars. They will pull the same bs. It's a nightmare dealing with those clowns.

Your Jeep "Birth Certificate" should have come with the Owners Manual and User Guide packet and should have been presented to you on Delivery.
It's a little white card with bar code and date time stamp of when it came off the line at Toledo Supplier Park 4400 Chrysler Drive. Toledo, Ohio.
That's where the Stork drops them off.

Yes I'm a little Jeep Nuts.

Bought mine at Midway, went in for a free oil change and tire rotation and they lost my wheel lock key! Screw them they made it right but are idiots IMO! Ifni need work from a dealer I go to rancho now in Kearney Mesa.

Oh, I didn't have a single problem with them for a few months.. Until the sector shaft on my '12 shattered, and took the clockspring with it. They denied warranty coverage, and they are even fighting me on my half door windows(one of the zippers doesn't work anymore, and hasn't since about 9 months after I bought it).. Still waiting for them to replace that... Oh, and they tried to deny me, even after I told them I ordered it with halfdoors, and showed them the windows. They are still trying to claim they are aftermarket. Perry/McCune is a nightmare. The only two things they haven't fought me on, was when somehow my clutch broken within a month of getting the jeep, and when my horn also stopped working. I'd say avoid those guys if at all possible.

I wasn't even trying to get work done. I was just going in for the 5 year power train check up.
