How far from bakersfield is the chevron station? We might drive down the night before if yous guy's don't mind the monterey county crew horning in.

I just spoke with the better half and she's down. So we will see you at 8am. I can relax now. I'm off friday so I got all day to get ready. How does this trail compare to lockwood/miller? Looking forward to saturday. I jsut did the tranny service and cleaned the air filter. Man that thing got clogged up following Artpics (rob) down the mountain that evening.

I won't be online after today until saturday, and just to confirm 8am at the station. We look forward to a fun day of wheeling. I have never explored any of the area east of bakersfield except to drive through, and over tehachapi. The lake isabella area looks interesting. Also from the pics online I have been able to see the trail looks challenging.
