I have been just plain disappointed with people not returning my Jeep wave here in Huntington Beach. What the hell? Jeep should put a warning sticker on the dash. "Wave at fellow Jeepers unless you are a poser!"

 

I always have to give a wave. I even gave them when I had my Bronco.

I try & wave MOST all the time!

Some wave back......and some don't

All I know is the ones that DO wave back, are the ones that are true to the term "It's a Jeep thing.....you wouldn't understand!"

 

When i first got my wrangler i was driving and i noticed a guy in another wrangler wave to me when i passed. This is what caused me to start asking around which led to my finding out about the jeep wave. Now I wave to every wrangler I see. Wave even if you dont expect a wave in return...that is really what keeps the jeep wave alive.

If I'm drivin the JK to work I take it thru Topanga Canyon and I see a fair number of Jeeps. Honestly, most are driven by gals that are on the phone, doing make-up or reaching for something (sorry gals) so I don't bother to wave. I do however see a few modded rigs and give a wave. Ain't never got one back.
I'll keep it up 'cause I gots faith that one day........

 

I go that same route on occasion and I know exactly what "women" you're referring to... I wave whenever I can, that is, when I'm not completely zombified or fiddlin with crap! I won't wave to them though, I don't like the dirty looks.

 

I wave, but most do not wave back. I live in the Long Beach area. I do find however that the wave rate goes up in the mountains and the desert.

I might be confusing things a little when I wave from my daily driver.

 

I wave a lot but have found that it's really only worth it to wave to modified Wranglers and CJ's.

 

I wave at all but most people that notice me wave back with a confusing look
