I wave at all wranglers!! I get more waves back from ppl with tops/doors off...yet to get a wave from a 4-door!! Most of them are women and may not be aware of the wave so I feel we need to educate them!!!

I wave at all wrangler style jeeps. About 1 in 5 get a wave back. I started doing it, because I didn't, Sempermarc would come honking at my door at 3 AM. I wouldn't be able to prove it has him, but I would have my suspicion.

I agree that in the mid-west where I am originally from, I got the wave 90% of the time. Here I would say 50/50. More so form lifted jeeps. I just decided to keep the wave alive and not let others lack of knowledge affect my commitment to the legacy of the "Jeep Wave". Keep it going, those soccer moms and business men may get a clue eventually...

I tell anybody who is riding with me that if they see a jeep and I don't or if I'm busy driving they had better wave for me.

my girlfriend has gotten really good at it but she always turns it on me and say "I will wave at them for you if we can take the top off."

Fair trade. Right?

Sounds like it to me.

X2, I have really slowed down now on the wave when it's a woman. They pretty much have to wave first or I get this strange look. Maybe a big sign on the front "Wave, if you love your Jeep"

San Diego's so packed and drivers are dumbshits on the phone, reading books, texting, applying make-up, etc. that I am to busy avoiding being hit to wave at anyone unless it's the one finger wave, just kidding, I don't want someone to shoot at me or try to run me off the road because THEY are having a bad day and can't take a joke.

Synical, me, never. I just can't wait until I retire and move to some place that is lightly populated away from freeways, traffics and the border.

Sorry, rant done.

P.S. If you wave at me and I don't wave back it's either I didn't see you, or I just assumed you have mistaken me for someone else

I used to ride a 1500 Vulcan and it is tradition to wave to all other bikers so now that I drive a Jeep I try to keep the tradition. Most people do wave back. The others with rescue green always do.
