Lift install help?
I like the lift. I put it on by by myself about two months ago using the Project JK write up. The instructions are good but I have two comments to add to them.
Make sure you have tall jack stands. I ended up setting my stands onto some wood shelves to get another 2-3 inches of height in order to be able to drop the axle enough to install the new springs (after jacking the jeep up 2-3 times). The other thing to watch for is on the back end, pay attention to how the new rear springs set. I had everything installed and bolted down and when I lowered the jeep back onto the floor I realized that one of the springs was very close to the track bar and would likely rub. I have to disassemble the back end again, rotate the spring about 90 degrees and then bolt it all back together again.
Did you order adjustable track bars and new sway bar links? You will need those to correct the geometry. I have to confess that I'm still tweaking is the straightening of the steering wheel because I occasionally have my eps come on when getting on the freeway fast on a cloverleaf entry. It is disconcerting the first time it happens. It feels like someone is hitting the brakes while you are trying to accelerate.
Have fun!

Cool I'll PM you when we get it all figured out. Still looking for a location.
Yeah, if I could get your stands we can work on the front and rear at the same time. Let me know if you can stop by or if I need to go to your pad and pick it up.
I also have tall jack stands. PM me if you need anymore help.
I can bring tools as well if we need anymore.
One more thing, what exactly is the lift? Is it a full suspension lift or just a coil lift like I did. I want to bring the proper tools if you need me to help.

I have two tall jack stands I could lend. I looked at my schedule and I may have to work that saturday. I could bring them out to Santa Clarita and meet you toad. Or were ever you think is a good place to meet up. Any time between now and sunday works for me.
I have, the bottle, the floor, and the 60" high lift jack. I'll bring all three with the two 6 ton stands and the ft/lb torque wrench. I had the torque wrench calibrated at work, so if you guys want to check what you got...

). If you want we can meet Saturday, so you can use um
.
