Default Local Installer...

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a reputable installer. I know a lot of you have use Off Road Evolution, and naturally I called them first already, unfortunately they are close for a week so I'll have to use some else...

Thank you.

I want to add a lift (either 2" or 3" OME) and need a quote to budget it... Depending on the lift (and the quote) I get I may or may not install it myself. I am very comfortable working on my jeep for things such as electrical, adding a bumper, winch and all that stuff, but I have never put a lift on, and I have read so many thread about people that added a lift and had all kind of problems afterward, such as the infamous "death wobble" that I just rather have someone with the expertise do it right not to mention that for an mechanic / installer it shouldn't take more than an hour or two so it shouldn't be very expensive... Not to say that I don't own a hydraulic jack, stands etc...

I wouldn't let that keep you from installing it yourself, and having some other jeepers help you out. I've come to realize that not all shops know what they are doing and by doing alot of it myself, I learn more about my jeep. Just my

I couldn't agree with you more, and this is definitely my philosophy as well not say I enjoy working on my jeep and the DW is obviously the worst case scenario... and in a way the best as well since you are getting a strong feed back that something is wrong. I think my biggest concern is actually to miss something small that comes back later to hunt me in the form of an expensive repair...

In any case all I am looking for right now is more or less a quote. I haven't really decided yet. I do value your opinion.

Just a suggestion, try 4wp, but if you can, show up to some meet n greets, make some friends, and someone may be able to help. An hour or two of mechanics work will easily cost 3-400.

This guy is the man helped me with my teraflex bb and we (mostly he) completed it in just under 4 hours including wheel spacers with proper torque specs.

08redJKnCA - No matter what people say about your handle your alright with me

I am so mechanically un-inclined it's crazy, but I managed to install my 3' lift with the help of a friend. not as hard as I thought it would be.

There are tons of people that can help and I bet there may be an install party soon.
