I agree. Buddy upto some of us at the Meet and greet, and you might just most of the answers you are looking for

A budget boost is easy, and just like Toad said, dont be discouraged from doing it yourself. Besides, some of us here in the LA area are always willing to help, loan tools, heck, even turn a few wrenches on the weekend and get it done.

PS I did my own Full Traction install, and aligned my track bar/wheel alignment

Thanks guys for the support and encouragment, I talked to David at Northridge4x4 and I think I know what I am going to do. I am going to get the OME med. load with the HD spring in the front to compensate for the extra weight which will give me a 2" lift total. With that little of a lift it's pretty much a straight swap without the need for adjustable track bar which is the thing I was a bit uncomfortable with... So I'll definitely do it myself. As far as meet and greet or a newbie run, well I work during the day and go to night school which is extremely ( to say the least ) demanding as the program I am in is quite difficult ( A ton of homework which means most weekend are usually out of the question ) so playtime is scarce... I have managed however to plan a short trip to Moab in about 4 weeks which is one of the reason I want to build up my jeep, not to say I heard there is a "MOD" bug going around...

cheers.

Read some of the writeups, make sure you have the tools if not people with the right tools, take your time, and if you have any trouble post on the forum. There are people on here all the time with a possible answer or able to search for you. Best of luck with the lift.

I finally ordered the OME kit. I got the med. spring for the rear and the HD spring as planned.
I'll probably put it on this weekend ( if it doesn't rain), and I will do it myself... thanks for all the good advices and encouragements.

I'll post pictures as soon as it's on.

Just in case you don't know already, there is a OME lift install write up in the write up section. My buddy and I used it and it really helped.

It's finally done

It has taken 2 weekends, but it's done... Last weekend I got a used AEV front bumper, repainted it and installed it. Added a pair of IPF lights and a Super winch. This weekend I relocated the solenoid box and installed the OME lift.

I am tired...

I'll write more in the show and tell section in next few days with before and after picts.

cheers.
