Hey Storm when you do finally come out with us, gonna bring a guitar?

....Might help drown out some of strange sounds we heard on the last run.

Just kidding about that, but not about bringing the guitar!

Hmmm, ya know what, that's a really good point about food and being awake for as long as we will have been by the time we get to Lone Pine. Would you all rather just get a quick bite along the way and then just meet up for gas in Lone Pine? Let me know.

I'll just go with the crowd. I don't have a problem grabbing something before I meet you and eating in the jeep to save time, but if people want to meet up/stop for breakfast along the way, I'm good with that too. I just can't wait until 10:00, I'll get cranky.

Well, hadn't thought about it! But sure why not? Any other guitar players in the group?

I will assume you saw the pics I posted, Thus the question, But I anot a great guitar player, Pretty Basic. I am the " Dancing Chicken " in my band.

But you bet, especially if there are a few more. That would be big fun!

See Another good Reason for getting JK, The TJ just doesn't have the capacity, for the gear & the Guitar!!!
More justification...........I like it !!!!!!

I am thinking that breakfast for this many people and we won't be on the road until 11-11:30am. Withe it getting dark arond 5pm it might be wise to meet up, gas up and go and stop on the trail for a sandwhich? Just my thoughts, I go with the flow.

Good point. For those of you heading up from OC, how about we stop along the road on the way up and just grab a quick bite - maybe Kramer Junction or whenever hunger dictates. We should still meet in Lone Pine as the gas is a bit cheaper there and the distance to Keeler is still about the same. There is a Chevron at the south end of town that we should just meet at. And, if people like JKTyrant aren't able to see this post, I can head on up and get him at the restaurant. Let me know if this works for you all.

Yea sounds good to me. I think I'm going to end up meeting you guys at Costco too. I'll probably grab something to eat on the way there, but if everyone is stopping to eat again I'll just end up eating breakfast twice!

6:30 Costco right?

And Rubimon, yes that is one of his fine impressionable son on the left.

Hey Offtopic, did you ever find out if they allowed fires if they were in a container or is it going to be a mystery untill we get out there?

Only in established fire rings from what I could tell, and I don't think the place we'll be camping will have one. I forgot to call them to ask. WoL, do you know if it has a ring? Hate to get there and find out that it does and not have any wood with us, but don't really have the room to bring wood if we can't use it.
