The only issue with Hemet is the distance to March ARB... unless there's a faster route that I'm unaware of, I'm pretty sure it's a hefty commute.

there is probably only 10-15 minute diference at most between Hemet and Romoland. so i dont think it is that Hefty.... Romoland is on the outskirts of Hemet.... and hemet would be worth the extra 10-15 minutes.

you should be looking at the arlington, Orange Terrace area of Riverside if you want close to March.

... Marty Z... just serious about getting a good home in this crazy economic situation we live in. Trust me... I'll be the first one droppin' jokes when I get settled... but I have to say I'm a slight bit stressed at the fast tempo of my relocation. No offense taken... Just trying to find the best place for my future wife and myself...

I'm with you Dr. E... just that 10-15 minutes extra commute on a daily basis adds up in a JK.... Hemet lloks like a good area in all the research I've done... just hoping I don't have to commute that far....

Trust me, here in SoCal an extra 10-15 minutes is nothing. If Romoland is as bad as everyone is making it sound (I'm not familiar with it), I would definitely sacrifice the extra 10 minutes. The travel distances between places here are pretty substantial... I'm right in the middle of Los Angeles and it usually takes me about 20 minutes to get from place to place within the city. Regardless of where you live, you are going to find yourself spending a lot more time in your Jeep... so don't let that be a deciding factor.

Good luck!

we looked at a second home to rent out then retire in later in hemet and we saw no downside. Nice town homes with pools and golf courses an airport and casino
near by nice medical centers and plenty of banks and restaurants. One thing about hemet that was kinda cool was LA, SAN DIEGO AND PALM SPRINGS are all
about the same distance away. If you prefer one story homes hemet has more than most to choose from
