My wife just found out that I am going. Oops, I guess I must have forgotten to mention it. I just squash that by telling her I want her to go. Not her cup of tea! "No thanks, you go". She did say I should do those kind of things when the kids are in school. Nobody seemed to be planning their vacation days around me so I figured what the heck. Besides, we live here in vacation land.

 

I know a great jeweler who can get you a good deal on some diamond ear rings. It seems to work great!

 

I'd rather give her a pearl necklace!

I don't think a meeting place has been agreed on yet so here goes nothing.


I think with the amount of people that are going I think it would be better to meet at the firestation. If we meet for breakfast at the Roadhouse I don't think we'll get on the trail until NOON. In the words of a great scholar "Lets meet shake hands and roll" If any one is opposed to the fire station and has to meet at the Roadhouse, speak up now or forever hold your peace.

There is a dirt parking lot accross from the fire station that can accomadate all of us. It is just south of the entrance to the trail by a 1/4 mile or so. Doojer posted all the info for it earlier on this thread.


Also we'll have plenty of time to mingle while we're eating the Lobsters and steaks supplied by Woods. "Let's hear it for Woods!"
