So What Was Done to Your Jeep This Week?
Interesting. Mine were USA Standard gears, and the little warranty/break in card says no heavy acceleration for 100 miles and then to change gear oil at 500.
What manufacturer was your gears? The funny thing too is that I was told most of these gear companies are just sourcing the same gears as their competitors from Korea. If that's true then it seems weird that not everyone has the same break in procedures.
Then again some guys pay no attention to the recommendations and go wheeling immediately after a regear, and I bet nothing happens haha.

Did the cheapo (but awesome) 5 minute engine cleanup/detail. I can actually read the "3.8L V6" and all the cap tops again after 5 years haha

Step 2. Hose it down. Avoid hitting electrical connectors & wires directly with the water, but battery is fine)
Step 3. Spray ArmorAll and wipe up any excessive excess (again, avoid hitting electrical connectors directly & the alternator)
Done!
Rumor is this is what the shop guys do at dealerships for used cars to get them looking clean. "Professional looking detail" haha
Step 1. Spray SimpleGreen (especially on the heavy grease areas) & let it sit a couple minutes.
