Default SoCal Trails?

Where can I get info for trails to offroad in SoCal? I live in Los Angeles. I've heard of a few down near San Diego, but was wondering what's closer and possibly north/east of LA?
Anything near a river would be a bonus to get some flyfishing in.
Thanks in advance for any input!

You should check
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...-and-Waypoints!

Get the book Fish recommended

Nearest to RB is San Gabriel Canyon Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area (Fee $8) and Hungry Valley (Fee $5)

Get the copy of the book with the spiral binding. If it has the stiff binding they usually fall apart after a few readings.

for those of you who didn't get the spiral bound one, just take it to staples and they will do it for you for like 5 bucks
