Default SoCal Trimming Party #2

Starting a new thread where we can discuss this one.

Looks like Mikey1989 has inspired a lot of us.

Bottom line is that I suck, and need help. I honestly don't trust myself enough, or have the tools to tackle this on my own. I know that there are a few more people that are interested in this. Personally I am also interested in trimming my bumpers, but don't want to push my luck with this unless someone would be willing to help out with that as well that day or a later time.

Time, date, and location will be determined as we go. If you are interested in trimming, then post up here. If you are willing to help out with tools or a steady hand and instruction please post up as well.

Just tossing this out there but next weekend would work great for me, but I am open to any Weekend since I am currently in a military professional career progression course until mid December.

Really looking forward to this.

I'd be willing to pass out beverages next weekend, not this upcoming weekend.

Yeah, next weekend. As in the 22nd or 23rd would work. I could make any weekend thereafter work as well though. I'm also flexable on where I can travel to, i.e. SD or OC.

I can be counted on to hang out and cause trouble like I usually do as long as it fits into my schedule.

I can help give tips and tricks again! Oh wait nevermind I measured and cut for Lensman.....

As long as it is on a day when I am free I will be there.
I am trying to find some thick paper that I can make a template out of for the chop line. That way all you have to do is lay the template on and mark the line. Then flip it over and do it again on the otherside... sometimes I am too smart

I live in the SF Valley, but travel to HB quite often, so driving down for a bad ass/cheap mod is not an issue for me!

I'm just going to throw the 22nd out there as the day then, so people can bounce that off their schedules to see if that will work. Then we can figure out a time. Keep in mind that the date is completly flexable.

Now we just need a place...

If I can not attend the event due to scheduling issues, I will try to have the templates made before the event and pass them off to someone who will be attending. I have a few time consuming installs for my JK to get off of my list and my helpers lists before the holidays get here.

If you guys are still looking for a place, you know I'm down.

Jake, if you want some help with some templates, just let me know. If we do one out of .25 press-board we could make this a router trim. That would make the cutting much easier.
