I want to go. I might make the Pasadena finish and if I can get out of a previous engagement, I want to go to Palomar Mtn. That is an epic climb. Too bad so much of the Tour of California is so far north.

I was thinking about taking my boys down to the finish of the last stage here in Escondido ; problem is there are so many road closures that it makes more sense to just leave town . . . but I'd like to check it out.

They are going to pass about 2 blocks from my house. Hopefully, I will not have any problems getting out to the 14 and on my way to LCC.

Lance Armstrong has a twitter account and has been posting throughout the race, including photos, which has been really cool. His team twitters too. I knew within minutes that his bike had been stolen because he posted an alert asking people to keep an eye out for it.

It would be cool to see.

The Tour of California just rode by my house about 20 minutes ago. Will try and post some photos after I go through them and see what I got.

I heard that there were 1.2 million spectators along the course for stage 7. I saw a few weirdos, too, that were running along side the group in costumes or just a speedo and a helmet.

I did not see him, but I did see the horn guy and the big hair guy. Have any of these nuts ever caused a crash?
