I hope you guys don't mind me putting this on the SoCal section.

I am an assisant scout leader for Boy Scout troop 346. We are constantly in need of camp gear. If anyone local in SoCal is interested in donating good working condition camp gear to the troop it would be greatly appreciated.

Thought maybey you were gonna tell the story about when you went camping and woke up in the morning with vaseline on your rear.

 

I just went through our camping closet. We have a 2 person backpacking tent and a 5 person HUGE tent to donate. Now we just have to figure out how to get it to you.

 

Wow! You guys are awesome. I will make arrangements to come by with the scouts to pick up what is donated.

I wish you had posted this a month ago - I've been doing a major "get rid of the stuff" project the past few months (ten plus years of moving every year and never finishing the unpacking - it was almost as good as Christmas) and have already given everything to goodwill just to get it out of the house.
