Default problem fixed for superchips!

so i took my jk to the dealer for some recalls and one of them was a recalibration of the O2 sensor well after they did it my superchips programer will not program my jeep. they do not have the software to upload on the net eather. so if you are using a superchips programer do not i say again DO NOT!!!! get your jeep reprogrammed till the superchips company has the right software to support it. so your not stuck like me

peter

Dear piotr pleszka,

Our records show that your vehicle was not supported by your programmer with serial number 0000000001536880. We are pleased to inform you that an update has been posted and your vehicle is now supported. To receive this update, connect your programmer to Internet Update PC application, and your new file will be installed.

Sincerely,
Superchips Customer Care

superchip does not have the new software that the jeep dealership has installed. so your programer will be a paper weight till they do come out with it.

i will keep this forum updated with info as i get it.

You needed to take your rig back to stock before taking it to the dealer, then you can use your Superchips. Superchips will unlock it for you for $100.

^^^This.

Question for the OP - did you set your Superchip back to "Stock" before you took your JK to the dealership?

And supposedly if you can document to Superchips that the dealership did work on your vehicle recently (receipt, etc.), that you should be able to get the $100 unlock fee waived.

well i still have the documentation of hem installing a new programing and the recall number with it. they even told me it was to reprogram the O2 sensors that made me feel at easy doing it now i wish i didnt do it. im not the only person with this problem there are others complaining on the modified jk forum part.
