As i just recently joined, I've been looking around the forums trying to find something within about a 100-150 mile radius of Vandenberg Air Force Base (Santa Maria). I've come to the conlcusion that I may very well live in the Jeep wasteland. Don't get me wrong; i am MORE then willing to drive a few hours for the larger events...but to drive 4-7 hours for a 4-5 hour trail....well that gets a little hard to justify.

So are there any others out there like me in this area...(lets say north of L.A. and south of SLO county). I would love to meet up with some other owners in the area. I'm new to the area myself and spend the majority of my time out at the Oceano Dunes area.

Oh..btw...i know i may LEGALLY belong to SO CAL but you try drivin thorugh LA traffic to get to something....enough to make you wanna ad some kill stickers to the side of your jeep!!!

 

I have family in Santa Maria and try to visit every couple months. I'll post up next time I come out. I'll be the sept 18-19 but won't be available thus time.
