Beasley Trail Run - October
Stock 2-door Rubi. I have a winch and recovery gear though. I have CB materials, they just are not installed yet.. missing a stud for the antenna.
tgrt, what else does RotorHead have to do to his Jeep before you say its not stock?
And just so everyone knows, I'm trying like hell to be there. I will be out of town at the end of next week.. so I'm trying to secure points with the fiancee. She's already given an intial blessing, so I should be good to go.

I had some of that stuff all messed up and I guess I was confused. I updated it again. Hopefully, it's straight now. I thought it would be nice to know how many people were stock -- looks like half.

Hey JEFF!! umm.. not sure where to tell you where to stay but if ur comin from Helen then you are probably gonna be coming into Blairsville from 129 headed North... so I would just stay in Blairsville. just get on expedia or sumthin... you wont have a problem findin somewhere to stay. This is definitely a small town... (aside from all this, I used to live in Augusta... but we can talk all about that on Sunday...
)
)
). Well back to work!
When i went by myself... i covered maybe 4.5 miles in about 4 hours... this included stopping for pics, breaks, and a 15 minute snack.
you are definitly not hauling @$$ out there... so the trails seem to last forever!
BTW... for those that wanted to follow me... i may be going to beasley saturday afternoon and camping up there... i will wait to ride the trails until sunday, but if my buddy can make it, i will be camping.
with that said... my cell phone will be on and the directions are pretty straight forward.
North 575 for a long time... road turns into two lanes instead of four... entrance is on the right (brown sign that says Beasley Knobb ORV PARK)
i will let everyone know what i decide to do

80 something? I'm coming over 160 miles! (I think at least one is coming from even further.) I'm not sure if I can stay longer than what it'll take to make the run. Depends if I can find a dog sitter -- the wife is in Virginia visiting family.
