Beasley Trail Run - October
Why can't you take your top off when you get there?
good looking out on the brush warning. If its not to chilly ill come doorless and put the top down but if its cold ill just scratch the doors some more... they have quite a few already.
Booz Cruz, you got something way better than offroading coming your way so i wouldnt worry about it! we will have other rides

Take U.S. 76 / Appalachian Development Highway (APD) 515 east from Blairsville for 4 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 745. Follow this road 1.1 miles to the parking lot. Visitors should stop by the Brasstown Ranger District office for more information on these trails.
I copied the first set from mountaintravelguide.com
below are the directions posted on:
http://www.fs.fed.us/conf/rec/ohv/beasley-vicn-map.htm
DIRECTIONS - There are two parking areas from which to enter the OHV trail system. Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 0.7 mile. Turn right onto Windy Hill Road, a paved road. At 0.7 mile when Windy Hill curves sharply to the left, go straight onto a gravel road. After 0.1 mile, turn left onto a narrow gravel road, Forest Service Road #851. Continue 0.8 mile to the OHV trail system parking lot.
Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 3.4 miles. Turn right just before two large propane tanks onto Rosemary Lane, which is also Forest Service Road #93. At the first fork, go left. At the second fork go right. Follow the road to the parking lot at the end, a total of 1.6 miles.
I apologize for the confusion. My original post is edited with the accurate directions.

I think I will be coming from around the Helen area. The girlfriends birthday is on Sat 27th and we are going to go to Helen on Sat (to drink at Octoberfest
) and probably stay up north ga sat night. I know there won't be any hotel rooms within about 50 miles or more from Helen. Can anybody tell me a good place to stay, maybe Blairsville or somewhere like that. Plus i have never been to Beasley, so if I could meet up with someone and follow that would be great. Oh and if anybody wants to meet up on Sat at Octoberfest that would be cool too.
