The 18th should work for me. Next month on Sept. 29 there is a big JK event planned there for a great cause. If you can't get there on Aug 18, then Sept. 29 would be a good day to go.
If you are new to off-roading or to Jeeps, Gulches is a great place to learn. There are some wide, easy trails that are a lot of fun for a stock Jeep or a newbie. Once you are ready, the tougher trails are well marked and you can always get help with spotting, lines, or a pull if you need it.

I'm not scared to go out by any means, just trying to work on getting recovery gear of my own and what not...my biggest concern is breaking something and not being able to afford the part...always gotta be a $$$$ issue lol
