December Ride December 6th - 7th @ Mountainside, Gadsden AL
I'll see what time the other group will be hitting the trails Saturday morning, we can then plan on when and where we are going to meet to convoy from GA and meet up with the AL guys!
I'd like to get there before 9am and have a good bit of time on the trails and leave out around 4-4:30pm!

Here's a pic of my jeep with me as the passenger. My signature pretty much sums it up - 2" BB with 33" Mickey Thompson ATZ's. I've got the 4.10 rear end with limited slip. I have also put on the Mopar enhanced rails since the picture was taken.
Oh and I've got the Woods Evaporator canister kit that will be going on this week. I think you know what it does. Your prior trip influenced my decision to get one.

Denny and I have been down there a couple of times now (you can see pics in the Huntsville thread), and here's my take on the green-blue-red map a few posts up:
Green - fairly easy, shouldn't be too much of a problem for anyone.
Blue - still doable for most of us, but it is a notch up from the black.
Red - these are serious, watched some buggies thrashing themselves on some of these. I know one is called WTF; the bottom didn't look too bad so I walked (climbed) up it about 2/10ths of a mile, and just when I thought, "I'm doing this!", turned a corner and was looking at basically a cliff wall.
It sort of took me by surprise - I'll let you guess what I was thinking.
Anyway, forget that D5 Tellico stuff where the trail is rated extreme, but stock JKs can crawl all over them. The Red trails, I saw, are extreme.
Still, there are enough trails to play on for 6-7 hours . . . easily.

I am trying to convince the boss (aka the lady of the house) so we can go. I only live about 50 miles away and really haven't taken this JK out much if not at all. I would love to break it in.
I should find out more by this week.
I am running 2.5" BB with 33" MTZ's.

Cool, put the Xmas lights up early and hopefully that will help your chances!
Unless they changed it from two weekends ago their easy stuff are on the green trails. The ratings are green, blue, and red. JK-Rubi has the summaries on the ratings pretty good. There are degrees within each though. For example, Rev Limiter is red, but I think can be done when dry. In fact, allot of their trails get downright impossible when wet.
I cannot say enough good about this park. There is so much to do and play on and the price is right.
