I swapped to my set of Rubi KM2's for the ride tomorrow ... so between the Mud Terrains and Winch ... I should be OK ...

I would also suggest possibly Forestry Roads ... but I personally do not know my way around up there ...

I notice they talk all of the 4x4 info off their website ... no maps or prices either ??? Just shows dirtbike and ATV info ...

JEFF F ... are they OPEN TOMORROW? There is no longer anything on their website about ORV trails, hours, maps or prices ... I just tried to call you ... no answer.

Sorry I missed your call. Typically $25 per day for EACH driver in vehicle and $5 for each passenger. Not sure if kids are free. Today she said it would be less since only 3 hours. Since my brother had a extra ATV I paid the $30 for that all day and went to jeep trails from 11-2. Once you have the green arm band you can go wherever. They will give you a map when you arrive.

Forrest Service Road Maps Can be bought here:
http://www.theforestplace.com/index.php?cPath=21_25

"Chattahoochee National Forest Map" or "Oconee National Forest Map"

Can be downloaded here:

http://fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsinte...Forest-%20Maps

Or you can stop by any of these offices:

http://fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsinte...est-%20Offices

The Oconee map is waterproof. The Chattahoochee map is not but shows all 3 districts in N. Ga.

If you are certain they will let us on the trails I'll still go - I definitely don't want to waste a 3 hour drive to just turn around and come home .... If we want to call it off ... I'm OK with that as well ... I got other stuff I can do tomorrow ...

I have a winch.
Certain? Well, the woman I spoke to only works weekends and wasn't quite in the know... she was just telling me what went on today - that they let jeeps come in who drove there and didn't know that the 4x4 park was still closed. It's a gamble, but it sounds like if we come out there, they'll let us ride.

Isn't your JK a Rubicon? You should already have KM2's.

Looks like it's gonna be D-town tomorrow for a few hours ... if they are truly closing it to 4X4's ... this may be the only chance we ever have to ride it ... See you in the morning at McD's ...

07 Rubicons came with KMs, not KM2s. I'm hearing great things about the KM2s. Wishing my KMs would wear out so I can justify the $ for 35s or even 37s...
