I have what is probably a dumb question since I'm sure the ride will be so much fun nobody would want to stop; but is there an ETA for when we'd end up at Amicalola? If we do make it up, we'll be leaving our girls to terrorize grandma for the day ...I'd hate for her to think we got lost in the woods! I'll pass on the extra fun on Sheep Wallow since I'm 100% stock and my new Unlimited will only be 2 weeks old by then! And, I'll have a 1.5 hour drive back to Winston, GA from there.

Also, my CB is one of those portable ones with an external magnetic rubber ducky antenna. I'm assuming we'll be close enough together where it would be fine?

Should be fine with the CB. I have zero problem with making a stop if we need to drop someone off. Danny will better know a time frame to complete the ride before sheep wallow...

I hear kids giggling in the background on some of the Youtube videos...instead of terrorizing grandma, we could drag them along to torture us. Any thoughts on a couple of beautiful girls (age 8 and 10) bumping along with us? Is this group fairly well behaved? The girls typically are...

Almost every ride I have ever been on there have been passengers, dogs and kids/children. They probably would enjoy it!

I would only worry with some potentially 'dirty' jokes on the CB... all that I have ever had happen that would be a worry to the younger crowd.

Well...I act like a 10 year old so they should fit right in. You shouldn't have any issues outside of the "dirty" joke or two on the cb like muddy said.

If all goes smooth we should be on trails for maybe 5 hours? We have never taken the proposed route so this a new adventure for all of us.

Last time I was dropped off back at the Home Depot at 430. There is a clear 'break' between Forest Roads and the Sheep Wallow's area if you need to leave a little early.
