You still under warranty? Hope you pressured washed the engine before bringing it in!

Dan. I did get extended warrenty for it. And I did pressure wash :-)

The latest is something with the trans (which shares cooling with engine). We will see. Thanks for the concern.

Update on the overheating. They found a layer of mud between the AC condenser and the radiator. Had to peel them apart to get to it. Given how long ago I first overheated, I'm guessing the "sleet run" is where I got it. I'm picking it up today.

I guess the lesson for me is to not be so aggressive in the mud.

Hmmmm ... that may be some worthwhile preventive maintenance ... wonder how difficulit it is to get them apart and clean it up ....

Either that ... or just rip the A/C and the condensor out ....

Did they charge you since it wasn't necessarily a warranty issue? What dealer do you use?

Great news. Glad you worked that problem out. Something we can all watch for. Makes me feel better about my "when in doubt go around" philosophy.

ha ha ha if you notice in the videos I take it nice and slow no need to gun it through. I just let the Jeep do the work..

the more I take it out and play with it( insert joke here) the more comfortable I'm getting and realizing what the Jeep is capable of. and I really need sway bar disco's like last week..

I was disconnected the entire trip ... highly recommend disconnecting the sway bar! Makes for a much smoother ride too!

Those 33" DC tires you got make it possible to go slower than us with our little Rubi KM's ...
