Just checked weather radar. Looks like N. Ga getting a good soaking most of today. Should be better weather tomorrow (if they're right).

I agree that Beasley is going to be pretty sloppy. Might be well advised to try something less challenging... or reschedule. I'll go with hte group consensus.

I'm fine with meeting around 8:30 or 8:45 at the HD. I had planned my day around that and being a little closer to home will make it easier for me to get home in time for the evening festivities. Lunch at the end sounds good!

If folks don't mind drive about an extra 10 miles or so ... we can start off on the Anderson Creek Trail ... it's short ... but has the coolest water crossing I've ever seen - can be done in a stock JK. SOme of you guys have already done it ...

From Anderson Creek we go to Old Bucktown the to Amicalola Road and out through the park. Sheep Wallow Rd is a few miles from the park entrance if we decide to go check that out as well.

I say we still meet early and then we can do a late lunch if everyone wants ...

Here are the maps ... We do have to go onto public roads on some the areas ...

For folks NOT meeting at HD in Dawsonville at 8:45 ... You should meet at LOCATION A on the First LEG map at 9:30 AM

First LEG - Google doesn't show FS road going from location G over the mountain and into the park:

Second LEG if we want :

I'm in - HD at 8:30. Only 5 minutes from home!

I've wanted to do that Anderson Creek trail for a while. Also, if anybody wants, we can do the Cochran Falls trail - it's about 6-7 minutes from Amicalola. Has anyone been in there before? Should be nice and muddy.
