I heard of a few active clubs down here with a club originating from Majestic Tire on Airport Blvd.
Was a long time dirt bike & ATV rider but got rid of 'em -no where to ride anymore, closing of Millers Park, new subdivisions, etc...
Still waiting on my order shoot me an e-mail in a few months.

I'm only an hour from Birmingham, can someone list some trails in that area?
How often is http://www.grayrockorv.com/ open on weekends? It looks as if they are only open for special events or reservations.
Thanks!

I live in Corner, AL, about 20 miles north of Birmingham.
As far as trails go, i haven't been to Gray Rock yet, even though it is only about 10 minutes from my house. They are only open for special events and such. We are going to go to the June Jam on June 8-10.
I have been to Morris Mountain (www.morrismountainorv.com). It's near Cheaha about halfway between B'ham and Atlanta. my hubby and i went about a month after i got my jk to check it out. It was my first time driving off road so we stayed on the access road, which was a level 1 trail, so i didn't get too adventurous but we had a blast!
Went through a mud hole and over some rocks so it was definitely a good time! I am looking forward to going back. They are open every weekend.

We live in Oklahoma right now, but there is a good chance my job may be transferring to Birmingham, AL this summer.
My wife drives a TJ and I've got a 4-door JK.
So, I too, may become very interested in the best off-roading spots near Birmingham.
Thanks.

Woolys Offroad park in TN.
Coal Mine Mtn is a Madison County haunt for 4x4s
AND, I get to play on G.W. Jones' farms... but thats just because I'm marrying the foreman's daugther. Go me.
Never been to grayrock and the first i've ever heard of Morris Mtn.
I can't do much of anything till I get some AT or MT tires. these stockers just...suck.
