Default More wheeling w/ pics to prove it!!

Found a cave.

Inside - didn't figure out that limestone on the ground was falling from the ceiling until after I was home editing pics.

Pretty day, and the moon was even out.

Rock outcroppings along the top.

Aqua color swim hole.

Yet another creek crossing.

Just installed the Rugged Ridge front skid plate. The instructions says that it will protect Rubicon sway bar disconnect motor, but since I don't have a Rubicon I can't say for sure that the underbelly of the skid plate covers the disco motor. The front skid plate uses 2 mounting brackets attached to the sway bar mounts and nuts and bolts to the front under cross member of the Jeep. The finish of the skid plate is the same as the Mopar rock rails (OEM Rubicon). IMO the skid plate is solidly built (very heavy for being so compact). Just what I was looking for...I didn't want a skid plate that "stood out" from the rest of the Jeep. Trying to keep it clean and simple.

Before Pic of underside

Before Pic of sway bar mount location (note skid plate on the floor..all brakets were welded and gusset'd)

After Pic of sway bar mount location

After pic of skid plate installed

After pic of front of Jeep

hey guys,

A friend of mine is selling a 85' CJ wrangler that has rebuilt 4.6 liter, 2" lift, and 31" AT's for $3500. The rear end is the only thing needing replaced. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Default Bear Hollow

Travis & I went to Bear Hollow management area on Sunday. This is the same place a few of us went to months ago and spent all day trying to find it out east of Huntsville.

All of the pix we took can be viewed at my rides na dfriends link below.

yes I forgot. But I will say I absolutely love the ARB snatch strap. Have used it a couple of times and it works so mych better than a typical recovery strap. The elasticity in it really works to your advantage in pulling you out of a jam.
