You can sign me up for lunch Thursady/ Friday or both. It looks like I won't be the only Air Force guy, assuming USAF isn't some other acronym.

 

Although my CB worked fine on our ride, I wanted a little more range so I ordered a 3' Firestik. Hopefully that'll add another mile or so, plus help pull in weaker signals. If I ever get over to your place to replace my brake lines, I can help you out with the antenna tuning. The tuning you had Quad do was most likely for the CB, as all sorts of minor things can affect the coax/antenna SWR (i.e., I can't imagine how they can tune the antenna without it being installed - they wouldn't have a clue as to the ground plane effectiveness, coax routing, etc.).

 

I will be in the market before too long for a antenna that doesn't slide off my hood...that got a little messy.

man i get stuck selling cars sometimes durring lunch.....but i need the money for MODS so i keep doing it.
If i was hardcore i'de say "listen, you need to come back after lunch, i have plans".
