Install was a breeze, it took about 1.5 hours. As for the shift boot trimming, I had to cut more than I anticipated and kind of crafted my own replacement inner boot to keep dirt and such out. Once the outer boot was back on it was no problem at all. The shifter actually sits at a better level for me now, and appears to be out of the way of accesories plugged into the 12V.
As for the 37's, it's still just an idea. I've got 21 days to think about it.

I ordered a k40 super flex 2' antenna w/ tuneable tip from rightchannelradios.com and got the antenna in 2 days. However, when I opened the box, I did not get the k40 but rather a ProComm 2' superflex antenna w/o tuneable tip. I was upset to say the least. I decided to mount the antenna and check the SWR readings anyway. To my surprise, ch 1, 19 and 40 all read 1.3 to 1.5. What should I do? Should I call and complain and try to get the k40 or forget it. I was happy on the price for the k40, but I don't think the Procomm should cost the same.
