I have a harbor freight winch...its meh at best. I don't think I'd trust it to get me out of anywhere. It seems very underpowered for a 8k winch.

I posted a craiglist add on "for sale local" that has a winch and front and rear bumpers. Man sold his Jeep and still has the parts. The rear Mopar bumper is drilled for a tire carrier.

I decided to mount the antenna and check the SWR readings anyway. To my surprise, ch 1, 19 and 40 all read 1.3 to 1.5. What should I do? Should I call and complain and try to get the k40 or forget it. I was happy on the price for the k40, but I don't think the Procomm should cost the same.
Wow, I am surprised by the great customer service!! I sent them an email this morning and they replied and apologized for the error. They shipped the correct antenna out toady w/ a UPS tracking number. As for my inconveniences, they told me to keep the Pro Comm antenna. We'll see if I get the correct antenna in a couple of days.

That's great Jeff, especially since my vote would have been request they send the antenna you ordered. It'll be interesting to see how it meters out.

On another note, you almost have a complete collection now with a 4', a 3', and two 2' antenna's. What's next, a 102" whip antenna?? And don't forget, Firestik makes them in different colors.

The 2' Procomm antenna meters around 1.4-1.5 SWR on ch 1, 19, and 40.

The 4' Firestik is gone.... I gave it to a good friend of mine.

I may put on a boomerang tv antenna next..lol

What are you looking for exactly Jason? Jeff and I have a Superwinch epi9.0, and I think bama has a Smittybilt (not 100% sure). If it'll help to look at mine, let me know and we can meet.

Sorry, I meant the K40.

Well you can't build a great collection doing that.
