I found some more information about the "Go Topless" Day. I saw the flyer again in a gas station in Decatur and got an email address off it. Here's the reply to my inquiry:

She sent me the flyer too. It says it will be at the Wilson Morgan Park on Beltline Rd, Decatur May 9 at 3:00. I think that's the park that has the big wooden structure on the playground.

Here's a pic of a few of us at the start of a recent ride. I believe everyone in the pic has done his own install work (and have made even more mods since then).

Jason. First, welcome to the forum. I love rocket city offroad. Paid them to install my first lift. Danny does good work, that being said, do not pay to have it put on. It's all very straight forward and if you get some of us to help it's fun to do, and you learn about your jeep. We just did new springs and shocks on my jeep in jeff's garage a few weeks ago. I had a blast. Everyone helped and everybody knows what they are doing. Even jason, who told me I could stand on my axel and not snap my brake lines. Ha ha. Anyway. Glad to have you on the forum. Just ask if you need anything. And by the way. Find your best price on the lift you want then tell danny at rocket city to match the price and save yourself the shipping. He's a pretty abrasive guy but he'll do you right in the end. From my experience any way.

Every time I see someone mount flashlight/bags on the tailgate I think, hmm . . . maybe I need to try that. But, I wonder what the downsides might be?
Pros:
Easy access to stored items.
Looks cool (at least to me).
Good place to put things that might otherwise roll around.
Cons:
Need to open tailgate every time you want access to something stored in them.
Adds weight to tailgate, albeit not that much.
They and whatever gets "stored" in them are susceptible to theft, especially when the top is down.
What do you guys think?
