Huntsville Alabama / Tennessee Valley Chat
Thinking of going down to Mountainside ORV Park this Saturday to knock around a little. If anyone is interested in tagging along let me know. If any of you "new" JK owners are interested in joining, I'd be willing to spend some time with you going over some of the basics, and showing you around the park.
It's about a 1.5 hour drive from south Huntsville, and costs $10 a person for the day.

Recharged (cleaned and re-oiled) the air intake filter, and installed a water repellent Outerwears pre-filter. Wasn't too concerned about water intake before due to the air intake design, but definitely feel more buttoned-up now with the pre-filter. Still very breathable (you can see through the pre-filter if you look closely), but water beads up on the surface.

. . . and while I'm silencing our thread with talk of a trail ride, has anyone else considered the upcoming ride at Windrock (near Oak Ridge, TN)?

Sept 11th for Windrock, huh? That might be a nice diversion to take.
You still going tomorrow?

Big Brown Truck just dropped off a box. New sliders going on the Jeep as soon as I can find some time. And just finished a cart to roll the hardtop around. Made out of a couple of 2 x 4's and some casters from Harbor Freight. Definetely will make it easier to move the hardtop around once removed from the Jeep.
