Speaking of, I believe that I still have your Coal Creek Map.

Another thought would be to make the Metal overlay actually have built in small shallow pockets that would hold maps, paperwork, cell phones. Just looks like the amount that sticks away from the console has room to do something with.

Sorry to bogart the Huntsville thread, hope to see some of you guys at the upcoming ride at Coal Creek OHV

Good to know about Molle bags - I wasn't too keen on that particular bag myself, but was wondering if having procured the straddle, whether some "better" (i.e., more accessible) bag might be adaptable. Probably don't want it too large as it would begin to interfere with leg room although I wouldn't be overly concerned about the passenger side.

Looking for something to stuff phone, wallet, camera, multi-tool, GPS, etc. into.

Not a problem Randy - I've missed several myself. One of these days you'll be able to meet up with the group.

I have to miss a ride if one goes down on Saturday, as I'm running in the 15K on Monte Sano.
Sorry peeps, maybe next time.

Does a JKU float??
I ask b/c my buddy in Little Rock called and said that storm headed our way has ALOT of rain in it. They got over 5-inches of rain at his from 10pm last night to 5am this morning.
Those of you who don't have your tops on...I'll rent a space in my garage for you for a reasonable price

Interesting that you post this Wes. Was just signing on to say I saw some poor Redrock Unlimited just absolutely getting hammered by rain a few moments ago. He/she was heading South on the Parkway just past the municipal golf course with the top down, doors mounted, windows up. Had some sort of neon orange "bicycle" flag sticking up from behind the rear seats (or possibly attached to rear rollbar).

Looked lifted, but I only caught a fleeting glimpse even though I was, like the rest of the traffic, merely poking along at 35mph in a 50mph speed zone. That's because the rain was dropping out of the sky like a waterfall - just pounding. Visibility was maybe 6-7 car lengths with my wipers on Max speed. Standing water was 2-3 inches at least.

Felt really sorry for the guy - hope it wasn't one of us.

As it is written, so shall it be done. However, remember Wes plans to slog 15K through the mud and rain, even though he has a perfectly good JK for that sort of thing.

I saw that guy too... i was at the ruby Tuesdays on next to wal-mart on the south end of town. What made it worse, was he got caught by the light. It was just pouring on him. It looked like the jeep had 33" with an aluminum rim. I think the flag was some sore of Mexican or south american flag.

WTF? I said I was in, damnit! I have not been on since our lunch because my Nephew has been in the hospital (still is). Well... If you guys don't want to get any rain and mud on your pretty Jeeps I understand. I may just hit Cop-Town road or something by myself. Jason, if you get a call from an international number, answer it... it will be me calling from my Sat-Phone needing to be winched out...
