Are any of the Huntsville guys thinking of coming to Mountianside the 19th of Dec?

What a great day for a very fun ride. Will definitely be returning to these trails - I think there's stuff for everyone, including some decent boulder/rock crawling.
On the way to the trailhead.

Driving past pastures.

The streams were flowing nicely.

Small mud hole that looked worse than it actually was.

Stream crossing.

On three wheels.

It was a perfect day for wheeling.

An old cemetary.

Whoops!! This was deeper than I had calculated. Denny was able to extract me with his winch thank goodness.

Trail had a lot of water flowing around it, but it wasn't too muddy.

Almost finished, it's starting to get dark.

Sun set.

Here we are airing down. Denny refused egress from his Jeep so he ran with higher air pressure than me as I was afraid that I might smudge his shiny tires while letting air out.

Water looks okay from the side, but it's higher up front where you create "bow wake".

Denny doing a little flexing.

Back up on top of the ridge, and on our way out.

Interesting to me that in these two pics, I have such a different sense of what my Jeep was doing suspension wise.
In this pic, I "thought" my suspension was flexed like crazy on the ledge, but in reality looks fairly level.

In this pic, I thought I was level, but the suspension is all twisted. Anyone else ever get erroneous sense feedback like this?
