Ok I just looked at google maps, and it said that it takes 2hrs. to get there!?! No way does it take 2hrs get get a little NE of Gadsden. I know I was I in a rush to get my bumper the last time I went that way, but I know it did not take me more than an hour, maybe hour and a half tops. So if we head out by 6:30-7:00 we should be there when the park opens at 8:00, ride till 1:00 and be back in time for the game.

Later would work a little better for me, and there's also the benefit of not feeling rushed . . . especially if we are having a blast.
Edit: Just thought of something along the lines of what I posted earlier about empty streets - same might be true of the park in the afternoon . . . when everyone heads off to watch the games, we'd have the whole place to ourselves.
