Not sure on the path Gary has planned, I do know it will be a full afternoon to get up the rock trail. Gary has some pictures he plans on posting

Default Skyline Trip Jan 30-31

Justin - Brandon is correct that much of the WMA could be run with your setup, but that's not what the GA guys want. The stuff in the below pics is on the agenda for Sunday morning. Like Jason says - roughly 4/10ths of a mile. I'm figuring it will take approximately 3 hours depending on the size of the group. When we get to the start at the bottom, I plan to have everyone pull out their winch cable, straps, shackles, etc., and get ready for the climb/crawl/claw up . . . and that's only if it hasn't rained for several days prior.

Saturday, we'll be doing a big loop in Armadillo Gulch. Even though it's probably only a 3 out of 5, I don't believe stock non-mud tires would work.

I'd love to have you come wheel with us (and have been guilty of razzing you in that respect), but this trip isn't one I'd recommend as a first for your Sahara. Your choice, of course.

Jason and I did a little rock climbing to reach this point, but stopped here and checked out the rest on foot.

Roughly 0.4 miles of this stuff - I'd rate it a 4+ out of 5. There are even bail-outs in a spot or two.

Default Skyline

More pics from the recon ride at Skyline this weekend.

Stopping for a moment up on top.

First of many creek crossings down on the bottom. Water was up highest I've ever seen it.

This is very close to the campground GA folks will be staying in Saturday evening.

Another creek crossing.

Will post more, but I had just gone through the same mud hole - not sure why, but it latched onto Jason's rig hard and fast.

I'll let the other guys chime in here - not sure what more I can say.

Edit: You could start the day with us, and could easily make the first 3-4 miles before turning back. You'll definitely know when it's that time.

that might be a good plan. Who knows. I'm suppose to be getting brandon's old lift either the end of this week or beginning of next. So that would help with clearance Clarance. Still would be on the shitty street tires. Planning on pulling the steps off, as from what I've seen, they are made of explosive plastic. Thats all I got, whatcha think for saturday?

Kudos to all the Huntsville Thread people who are putting so much time/effort into making sure the GA guys have fun. I'll be coming off of TDY the 29th and starting back on the 1st...so that Saturday is a GO for me. Sunday will be dependent upon amount of damage inflicted Saturday

I thought you already had it lifted a little.

Never mind about the first 3-4 miles - you're on your own with respect to this decision.
