how about this, they called me to say that indeed my trans has a problem and will have to be rebuilt! Which is good, because I knew it was a problem, that is what it needs. However, the parts are on national backorder :(

They are also going to revisit my top when it gets the transmission work. The "leak specialist" wasn't there today LOL

I want to know who on this forum (not the Huntsville thread) works for Chrysler. It's amazing how many mod ideas, conceived by folks on this forum, have ended up on production vehicles. Here's the latest one I've noticed - the blacked out grill. I suppose I should give them props for taking the time to find out what's popular among Jeep aficionados, but somehow them swiping everyone else's ideas, without attribution, just doesn't seem right to me. Wonder if they are patenting some of the mods folks have designed/implemented.

I think I'll start a thread titled, "What JK-Forum member's mod will Chrysler copy next?".

no, they gave me mine back today still intact. There is no reason to take it apart until they get the parts

You're right Justin, that's another example as well as the little net for small item storage on the front dash. Did they ever implement/mimic the front blinker mod?

Default A little help

I have Rough Country's 2.5" prog. coils and the rear have the sagging problem. I talked to RC and they were going to replace the rears no cost. This is a good thing...RIGHT... I get the package in the mail on Friday. I look at the coils and I swear they are for the front... so here is the question.

The front coils are longer then the rears and are coiled in a small circle. The rears are shorter and coiled in a bigger circle.

If this is correct, then I am still waiting on REAR coils.

I believe you're still waiting - the good news may be that they let you keep the fronts they sent.
