I have been contemplating doing the fender chop as well .............. And I have a Dremel, Sawzall, and Jigsaw to do the job. Lemme know what evening this week will work for you, and we might just have to do the damn thing!

I have both of those issues. Bought my Jeep used, and it is out of warranty due to mileage. I looked on the Jeep website to see if I was eligible for the Soft Top Header TSB, but it didn't show me eligible for anything except the Front Tow Bar TSB............. Since I had to buy the Soft Top separetly, after I bought the Jeep, I guess I am stuck with the leaking front corners.
I am expecting a letter for the Auto Transmission Issue any day now though.

Never had to deal with the dealer ............ knock on wood. I have heard horror stories about the Jeep stealerships (not the one here, but in other locales) bustin chops due to folks modding their Jeeps.

I have been there about my header leaking air and the radio losing time, and the transmission recall...I have had to be patient but other than that, no problem... They even broke one of the door surrounds while working on the top and I didn't notice for a week, they replaced it no questions asked.

Good luck with your Jeep.

Been looking at various threads on the fender chop. Think WOL's fender chop looks best so Ill prob do it that way. Any evening will work for me.

Those PSC steel tube fender flares are awesome. Best looking set out
there and not much more money than a set of the cheap plastic bushwacker pocket flares. Those are my next mod. Hopefully order a set next week.

Congrats on the fenders/rockers - have you settled on any particular tire and size yet Steve?

so I saw two JKU's this morning at the gate. One was a slightly lifted debadged black sahara with some wheels on it. It looked really sharp. Also there silver x hardtop behind him. Both sporting TN tags. I wonder if they are on here. There is also a 2 door with wheels on it at 5400
