Great meeting you and your wife Tony. Hope we can wheel together again before you depart for greener ground.

You going to check into that front e-disco in the meantime?

I just noticed that the HSV Thread has 4,820 Replies and 45,295 Views .......... The next closest thread in "The South" Section to this one is the SAV Thread, and it has 1700 Replies and 12,386 Views.

Looks like this thread is a major contributor to this site. That, or we just like to talk online more than most

Maybe we should get some free T-shirts or something.

The issue I was having was actually the front locker that wouldn't disenage. Gotta pull the front diff cover and grind it for clearance for the Rubi e-locker. Prob gonna do the same to the rear as well. Apparantly the Solid diff covers do not clear the e-lockers and can cause issues. Found it on their website, but I bought mine used so I guess that's why I didn't know. Give me something to do tomorrow!

I cant see the pictures, but sounds like yall had a blast. I went to mobile this weekend to visit the gf and play in the oil. It was so sad seeing the beach. But anyway, on the way down, someone decided they needed my lane more than I did and broke even more clips off passenger fender. No damage other than that. Also, a few weeks back I ripped my plastic "skid plate" on the front off on a trail. The non believers that say it doesnt do anything are WRONG. I have never had hood flutter on my jeep, but the whole ride down to the beach I thought it could fly up at any moment. I gotta get that put back on.

I'm just glad the forum allows us to have this thread as a means of alerting other Wrangler owners in the Huntsville-Madison area about our common interest in Jeeps, and the JK in particular.

Hopefully we can maintain a low profile here and continue to stay in touch with one another for "meet and greets", rides, and to chat about neat stuff that we're doing to our JKs and that we see in the other forum threads.

Chris, what is the size/volume of that red tank in the back of your Rubi?

Oh, and how did you coax your Bestop doors into closing, what looks to be, fairly watertight?

Wouldnt have realized the plastic skid plate kept the hood from fluttering but I guess it makes sense. Another way to stop the fluttering is remove the hood spring. I did that and hasnt fluttered since.

I think that is the Warn 5 gallon air tank.

I'm just glad the TN Jkers can keep up with the GA Jkers unlike the AL Jkers.
