It is with a heavy heart that I type this post. After much wrestling with what to do with my Heep, I have come to the conclusion that all of the hassles and problems with the newer, underpowered Jeeps is just no longer worth it, in my book.
I was leary of buying a newer Jeep because I really liked the 4.0 inline six, but I gave the 3.8L a try. After my experience with it, I have to say I should have stuck with my first instinct.
I really enjoyed meeting some of you guys from the forum, and getting to wheel with you. Maybe in the near future, we will meet on a trail somewhere.
So, I have made the hard decision to not fix or replace the wonderful 3.8L torque-monster that we all have to tolerate in our JKs. I just cannot bring myself to do it. I have decided that I am going to get something with a little more grunt. My next motor will be a four letter word ............ that's right folks. It's gonna get a Hemi. That is all I have to say about that.
Hold onto your hats folks. Pix to follow.
