They will be as soon as I pull them off. I will need to find a source for new nut fasteners to replace the ones used during the install. Unsure of price right now, gotta look at what I paid, plus I had them powdercoated black. Cost will still be less than what a paid.

Default Recon Transformation

I like the below two pics for comparison.

Linex the rocker panels or the PS body armor?

Yes a winch is definitely in my future, not sure when. Ive got so many things on my mod list. Am currently working on removing the PS steel fenders and going back to stockers. Also want ot remove the PS body armor on the sides and Linex it.

Default Another Local JK Transformation

. . . and done on a budget of only $1789 plus change, plus a little bartering, plus some slave labor.

Linex the body panels where the PS armor is currently. Yes I was looking though some old photos and found those when I had the flying nun image. UGH! What was I thinking?

I did not even get to make it to the trail before the boot on the driveshaft let go. Wife drove it from Rocketcity Off-Road about 1:00 went to the house and then to work.
Was on her way back home about 8:30 and she started hearing a slapping sound.
I meet her on the side of the road and it has grease all over the bottom .
The boot near the transfercase is torn apart. Not even a full day on the lift and this happens. It all looked good before we left the shop with it. So who's fault will this be?

This is the lift I had put on http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_3-seriesII.html . It does not have any recomendations on needing driveshafts like the 6" kit
